So, I started this thread on the AV Club. I was just contextualizing Nathan Rabin's series on the Now That's What I Call Music franchise with my own personal experience, but what came out of it was way different.
Eventually the thread had two subjects; one, denigrating the band Jet (which is totally right) and the other, contrasting the relative merits of the Nickelodeon show iCarly, two things that are related solely through my vodka-addled sense of nostalgia. Obviously, this was video-worthy.
Note 1: Sam and I originally had a more extensive 45-minute conversation, but it was unintelligible due to background noise.
Note 2: I also claim that iCarly stole their idea from me, but as I stole my idea from Chester Tam, let's call it even.
